Rumpl announced its B Corp certification and commitment to values-based business practices joining the ranks of other B Corp-certified companies.
Through the process, Rumpl looked closely at its business and products, highlighting areas of excellence and areas for improvement. The B Corp certification provides companies with a roadmap to improve ways of doing business.
“We found the B Corp certification aligned with Rumpl’s commitment and mission, bridging the gap between our operational excellence and the decisions we make that benefit the community and the environment. Becoming a B Corp means more than checking a few boxes, it represents an overall commitment to being a better business, one that has a positive impact on the planet and is good for people,” said Wylie Robinson, CEO and founder of Rumpl.
B Corp certification began in the U.S. in 2006 with a mission that all companies involved meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. The certification takes time, effort and transparency. Over three thousand public and private companies are currently certified across industries that include manufacturing, apparel, healthcare, and investment firms.
Through the audit process, Rumpl examined its long-view on product durability and sourcing. The brand strengthened its governance and evaluated its human resource programming, which aims to give all employees an equitable environment to grow within a consistent, positive company culture.
