Dermatone, the official sunscreen, lip balm and frostbite protection of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, is expanding its medicated, broad-spectrum SPF 30 lip balm to include four flavors: Coconut, Green Tea, Mango, and Pomegranate.
“Dermatone has always been known for hard-working lip balms that provide protection all day long,” said Dermatone’s CEO, Doug Metchick. “These new flavors bring great taste and feel while still providing SPF30 protection. With a little more color and excitement in the line, we now have a match for any adventure.”
The brand’s moisturizing, medicated and broad-spectrum SPF 30 lip balm is formulated to protect, condition and heal lips. The new flavors offer the same protection against chapping, wind and sun as the brand’s original lip balm.
Dermatone was founded in 1981 as the first product to provide cold weather protection along with sunscreen. The brand’s formulas deliver protection in high UV environments. Dermatone has been tested in extreme environments, including Mt. Everest, K2, Antarctica, and Death Valley.
