VIM & VIGR announced the launch of its everyday compression sock, Purple Reign, in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021. A portion of the sock proceeds will benefit the University of Montana’s Pursue Your Passions program to support women entrepreneurs and leaders.
Last fall, VIM & VIGR hosted an online contest for artists to submit designs for a limited edition sock in honor of International Women’s Day. From the entries, Montana artist and entrepreneur Emma Covill’s artwork was selected and translated to a sock design, shown right.
“As a woman-owned business, we believe that women in leadership can change the world for the better,” said Michelle Huie, founder/owner, VIM & VIGR. “Causes near and dear to our heart — woman entrepreneurship, healthcare professionals, empowering minorities — are also shared by Pursue Your Passions. Its mission is to build educational, experiential and entrepreneurial programs for Montana women to create more equitable, prosperous and collaborative futures for all, and we are proud that some of our sock proceeds will contribute to their work.”
