Dragon Eyewear introduces its first sunglass collection dedicated to fishing. The four styles, designed with various lens tints, are specific for different conditions, whether deep-sea, in-shore or sunrise/sunset fishing.
The collection is part of the brand’s XP Cross-Performance line for water, land or snow conditions.
“Dragon is well known for designing eyewear to complement water and snow activities, so expanding into the fishing space is a natural progression for the brand,” said Thomas Burkhardt, senior vice president, global brands, marketing and design, Marchon Eyewear, Inc. “The fishing collection features Dragon’s H2O Floatable technology, offers seven distinct lens tints and four styles for every type of angler, from deep-sea to fly fishing. Options of styles and lens tints that are specific to different environments give the wearer the ability to choose a sunglass that fits his or her needs.”
The four styles feature Dragon’s H2O floatable technology, a lightweight, injection-molded thermoplastic, which is less dense than water, allowing them to float, and water-resistant hardware. The lens’ offer hydrophobic and oleophobic lens coatings for water resistance, moisture, dirt, oils, and weather.
The performance polarized lenses blend with Lumalens color optimization to maintain a clear view when on the water. Each style has detachable floating leashes and rubber nose pads for grip and comfort. The four styles include:
