Phillips-Van Heusen signed three new licensees for its Izod brand. The licenses covering North America include M.Z. Berger & Co. for watches, Accessory Network Group for handbags and accessories, and slippers for SG Footwear. The lines are expected to be launched in Holiday 2007 and Spring 2008.
Izod also last week was awarded naming rights to Continental Airlines Arena by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. The building will be called the Izod Center. Rocawear and Southpole also made bids for the naming rights.
