Walmart and Target announced plans to offer their own deals on the same days as 2020’s Amazon Prime Day. On Monday, Amazon revealed its Prime Day would happen on October 13 and 14.
Amazon’s shopping event had been delayed from its traditional July time frame due to COVID-19.
On Monday, Walmart announced its “Big Save” event, offering customers savings online on thousands of items from Walmart and its Marketplace sellers. Some of the sale categories include electronics, home, toys, beauty, fashion, and more. Running longer than Amazon Prime Day, the sale will start on Sunday, October 11 at 7 p.m. ET, and end on Thursday, October 15.
On Tuesday, Target said it’s bringing back its Deal Days from October 13 through 14, the same dates as Amazon Prime Day. In 2019, Target’s Deals Days were held in July alongside Prime Day. Target said this year’s event will offer deep discounts on hundreds of thousands of products across electronics, home, essentials, toys, and more. For the first time, all its deals will span both days.
