Sport Innovation Group, owner of the PolarPak brand, reports that delivery on all Polarpak Hydration Systems, which include the Polarpak and Moflow reservoirs along with the Flowjo waist pack, have been delayed until early- to mid-June. The company noted changes at the manufacturing facility and strict quality control procedures as factors leading to the delay.
The company reported dealers making multiple requests for the technology and, in several cases, even pre-selling the product sight unseen.
“Its bittersweet,” says Jeff Skillern, Sport Innovation Group president. “The demand for our technology has taken us by surprise but we can and will be able to deliver soon. Our dealers have been more than understanding and say its good timing because their inventory levels are fully stocked from pre-season orders and June should accommodate more open to buy.”
The Polarpak staff has been gearing up for rapid distribution and solid customer service. “This is the calm before the storm” says Skillern. “Were more than ready and anxiously waiting but in the meantime we have been intensely focused on our 2008 product line where well be introducing a line of MOFLOW hydration backpacks and Poly Carbonate water bottles with a very unique bite valve system.”
