Joes Sports & Outdoor, formerly G.I. Joe's, will host a grand opening at its new store in Meridian, Idaho, on Thursday, May 3, 2007. This is the first Joes Sports & Outdoor location in the state of Idaho.
“Were excited to bring our unique combination of brand name merchandise, selection and excellent service to customers in the Treasure Valley,” said Norm Daniels, Joes Sports & Outdoor President and CEO. “The store highlights our various departments and elite service shops. Sports and outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities will be able to find what they need quickly and easily.”
Loy Hibbs, manager of the Meridian location, said, “Were excited to be opening just in time for spring and summer. This store has sport services shops where you can have your bike tuned up and repaired, rent a canoes or kayak, or have a roof rack installed by skilled technicians. Its a great new resource for active people in the community.”
The new store in Meridian brings the total Joes Sports & Outdoor store count to 28. The new store is located at 3415 N. Eagle Road, near the intersection of Ustick Rd.
