TaylorMade Golf Company welcomed Rick Paschal, shown above, as its new chief financial officer. Paschal is responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury and information technology operations. As a senior member of the executive team, Paschal reports directly to CEO David Abeles.
“For years I have regarded TaylorMade as a high-performance brand and company. It’s about helping golfers achieve the best version of themselves, whether they’re a pro or an amateur. It’s an aspirational brand in every sense,” said Paschal. “I’ve spent my entire career working with aspirational brands. Brands that both inspire and elevate – TaylorMade undoubtedly fits that mold.”
Paschal has more than 20 years of global business and finance experience with both publicly held and privately-owned companies. Prior to TaylorMade, he spent three years as CFO and treasurer for Varsity Brands, a $2 billion private equity-owned business and leader in team sports, school spirit and achievement recognition.
Prior to Varsity Brands, Paschal served more than seven years at Coach in a number of executive financial and operating roles, most notably involved in developing Coach’s international portfolio. Prior to Coach, Paschal held executive financial, business development and strategy roles with a number of global market brands including Nestlé, Godiva, Pillsbury, and Häagen-Dazs.
“We are very excited to have Rick join our talented group here at Team TaylorMade. His depth of knowledge and experience make him an immediate asset as we grow the TaylorMade brand around the world. Furthermore, he has great passion for the game and is dedicated to expanding both the reach of our brand and the game of golf overall,” said Abeles.
Paschal holds a B.S. Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the Darden School of Business, both at the University of Virginia.
