Gander Mountain Company will open the first of more than a dozen stores it plans to open in 2007. The newest store will be located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota at 12160 Technology Drive. The store's Grand Opening is scheduled for March 30.
The 64,500 square foot store is replacing Gander Mountain's 29,500 square foot store in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The Minnetonka store will close on schedule, Saturday, February 24th after more than 10 years in that location. The Eden Prairie store will feature new color schemes and merchandise displays, and a unique floor plan with two floors.
“The Eden Prairie store reflects the on-going evolution of our in-store experience,” said Mark Baker, president and CEO of Gander Mountain. “We continue to innovate and improve as we open more new stores. It's all a part of having the best stores, the best associates, and the best assortment of products, at the best price, for our customers.”
Gander Mountain plans to open three more stores before July and the remaining stores in the fall. The company currently has 105 stores in 22 states.
