Boa Technology added Vincent Connolly to its Account Service Department. Vin will assume the newly created position of Account Manager for snowboard, skateboard, cycling, and hockey categories, effective February 3, 2007.
“We are excited to announce the addition of Vin Connolly to our Boa Technology team,” said Marty Carrigan, VP Sales & Marketing Boa Technology. “Vin's experience and skill set will help Boa continue our growth in the snowboard category and further our vision of making shoelaces obsolete.”
An industry veteran with 14 years retail, buying and selling experience in the snowsports industry, Vin is currently the principle Hard Goods and Accessories Buyer for Princeton Ski Shops, the largest outdoor specialty retailer on the New York Metropolitan area. Prior to that he was a Tech Rep for Ride Snowboards. He will finish his obligations with Princeton at SIA.07 before joining Boa Technology at the end of the month.
“The possible applications for the Boa Lacing System seem limitless, and the opportunity to work with the brand during it's global evolution will be a fascinating challenge,” said Vin Connolly. “In my position with Princeton Ski Shops, I had first hand experience with the system and the Boa-enhanced models exhibited some of our strongest sell through.”
In his new position, Vin will be responsible for the sales, marketing and account service of Boa's premium snowboard, skateboard, cycling and hockey brand partners. A New Jersey native, Vin will relocate to Boa's headquarters in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in February.
