Freestyle has hired Muriel Spoorenberg as brand director and Will Cox as national sales manager.

Spoorenberg was hired as the brand director for Freestyle to create synergy and cohesion between all departments and to plan and facilitate the brand strategy. “I look forward to the opportunity to be part of such a solid and respected brand,” says Spoorenberg. “I am dedicated to the brand, staying true to who we are and look forward to working with our talented Freestyle team to further enhance our brand’s growth.” Spoorenberg brings 10 years of watch experience, including three years at Timex working specifically on sports/action sports brands, to her new position.

Cox, a well-respected sales executive within the industry, has joined the team as national sales manager. In his new role, Cox will manage the domestic Freestyle sales team and serve as liaison between sales reps, retailers and the brand team. Cox has a rich history in action sports, working at Oakley for nine years in domestic and international sales and also as the global footwear brand manager. “Im excited about the opportunity to work with a truly surf inspired brand that created a category and help it remain significant with our retail partners,” says Cox. “Freestyle has a great heritage and they bring quality products to the market that combine performance and lifestyle.”
