Mammut Sports Group USA hired Eric Siefer as territory sales manager for the Northeast. The hiring is the second in-house rep position for the brand in the US, following the appointment of David Hymans in the Northwest last fall. Siefer will be representing the Mammut, Ajungilak, and Raichle brands while servicing specialty dealers throughout Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Siefer brings fifteen years of outdoor market expertise to the position, including practical experience in the vertical world as an international climbing guide, and business experience encompassing sales, marketing and promotions within the industry. As a dedicated Mammut Sports Group sales rep, Siefer will focus on facilitating sell-through for Mammuts Northeast dealer partners, by providing consistent dealer service, retail staff sales and technical training, and supporting key regional events and promotions.
Jeff Cunningham, National Sales Manager for the Mammut Sports Group brands in the US, sees potential for growth in a territory already well established for Mammut.
“Eric will be bringing new energy and new perspective to the growth potential for Mammut and Raichle in the Northeast,” said Cunningham. “As we bring our reps in house in the Northeast and Northwest regions, well be delivering a consistent level of service and sell-through support to our specialty retailers that are already embracing our brands and growing with us. Well also renew our focus on those potential dealers who have yet to realize the growth were seeing nationwide, as we gradually create in-house positions for all territories.”
Siefer will be based in the heart of New Englands climbing community, in North Conway, New Hampshire
