Escalade Sports announced a re-organization to better position the sporting goods manufacturer and distributor to compete and continue its development in the marketplace. To spearhead this focus on increasing profitable growth of their 21 brands, Philip J. Piccolo was promoted and named Executive Vice President of Business Development.
Mr. Piccolo, originally a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, joined Escalade Sports in 1994, where he served as Marketing Manager, Director of Corporate Marketing and VP Marketing and Brand Strategies. Piccolos new role will involve directing the efforts of Sales, Product Management, Product Development, Engineering, Import Operations and Marketing. Mr. Piccolo is charged with the task of coordinating a total program for all channels of distribution. Escalade Sports will continue to focus on the Mass Merchants and Regional Sporting Goods Chains as well as growing their presence with specific Specialty Dealers.
