The North Face appointed Barry McGeough Vice President of Footwear. McGeough will focus on building internal design and development infrastructure to drive The North Face footwear innovation and unique product aesthetics. He will be managing The North Face footwear product directors, focusing on three key product platforms: trail running, multi-sport/hiking and insulated footwear. McGeough will report directly to The North Face president Steve Rendle.

McGeough most recently worked at Deckers Outdoor Corporation in Goleta, CA as the Senior Director of Product and Resource / PDM where he managed design and development, factory assessment, project allocation, and pre-production as well as planning for mass production volumes, mold openings, production planning for 6 factories. He also wrote Factory Charter together with auditable factory review for standards and practices, workplace management, and human rights compliance.
At Deckers, he successfully built and commercialized more than 4.6 million pairs of footwear annually, including sports performance, beach, technical river, trail running, GoreTex® certified waterproof hiking, outdoor cross training, and snow. Barry and his family will be relocating to the Bay Area from Santa Barbara.
