Katadyn Group on Tuesday announced the appointment of Mike Jue as new general manager at Spectra Watermakers. Jue comes to Katadyn Group with more than 20 years of experience in engineering and product development with a number of notable brands including Camelbak, NASSCO, Hewlett-Packard, Easton Sports and Underwater Kinetics.
“We are very pleased to announce the addition of Mike Jue as our Katadyn Desalination general manager,” said Shawn Hostetter, president of Katadyn North America. “Mike comes to us with a wealth of experience and will be a valuable addition driving our desalination division forward with emphasis on product development, strategic growth initiatives and a culture of Kaizen.”
While at Camelbak, Jue led new product teams through the design-engineering production process to successfully bring industry-leading products to market. Jue brings vast, related work experience to this position, with a background in naval architecture, product engineering and extensive knowledge in the outdoor equipment industry.
In his role as general manager, Jue will support Spectra’s crucial relationships with distributors and partners, drive the brand’s commitment to innovation and quality and explore new opportunities for its products and technology.
