Global Brand Marketing, Inc. has appointed Bettina Schmitt to director of US sales for GBMIs Luxury brands, Dry-shoD and Dry shod Verde. Ms. Schmitt will be responsible for developing the luxury casual Dry- shoD brand and the new modern sport casual sub-brand Dry-shoD Verde.
“Luxury fashion sales is Bettinas forte,” said Killick Datta, chairman and CEO of Global Brand Marketing, Inc. “Her expertise will ensure that our luxury brands are in the right high end luxury markets at both better department stores and boutiques.”
Ms. Schmitt joins GBMI with nearly 13 years of experience in the fashion sector. With a bachelor degree in Fashion Studies from Montclair State University, Ms. Schmitt began her career at Fire & Ice, and has since worked at Diesel, Bogner, Paul Green, Maxwell Shoe Company and Burton in Sales and Merchandising positions.
Ms. Schmitt will be based out of GBMIs corporate office in Santa Barbara, CA and reporting to SVP of US Sales Larry Slivka.
