JBL renewed the company’s multi-year relationship with the NBA and expanded the company’s footprint among players and teams.

JBL’s relationship with the NBA started in 2014.

In addition to welcoming back three-time NBA Champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry, two-time NBA All Star Andre Drummond and Kristaps Porzingis, JBL is also adding Giannis Antetokounmpo as an ambassador.

As well as adding to current team deals with the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, the brand is announcing partnerships with the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat starting during the 2018-2019 season. Through these team partnerships, JBL will engage with fans in local markets. JBL audio powers 50 percent of professional basketball arenas nationally.

“JBL and the NBA intersect perfectly at the heart of music, sports, technology and culture. We’ve established a strong basketball heritage through our collaboration with amazing athletes and teams,” said Ralph Santana, chief marketing officer of Harman. “Looking forward, it was important to us to continue growing our thriving ambassador program and to get one step closer to fans and consumers by working directly with players and teams. These partnerships will enable us to provide fans with unique content and epic experiences at the intersection of music and sports.”

Mark Tatum, NBA deputy commissioner, added, “JBL has been a great partner, and we look forward to supporting their efforts as they continue to work with top players and teams.”

The new NBA stars and teams join ambassadors from sports, music and entertainment industries including 2017 American League Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge; actress and humanitarian Priyanka Chopra; Grammy nominated and multi-platinum selling recording artist Demi Lovato; prolific musician, producer and humanitarian Quincy Jones; multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Tinie Tempah; Indian music mogul A.R. Rahman; world-renowned pianist, educator and philanthropist Lang and soccer star Jerome Boateng, among others.
