Garmont expanded the company’s sales team with the addition of the Outside Group and JCA Sales.
Based in Ontario, Canada, the Outside Group is led by Ron Barr and three other team members, all with vast experience in the outdoor industry. Covering the New England states, JCA Sales are well established and specialize in footwear for outdoor and lifestyle brands. Garmont has added a large number of specialty retailers for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2019 season and is now looking to fill one remaining sales territory in the Southeast United States for Garmont Outdoor and Tactical. The Outside Group has been representing premium brands in the sporting goods industry for over eighteen years. The team is made up of four outdoor and ski minded professionals who are passionate mountain sports enthusiasts.
JCA Sales is led by Jeff Church. The agency specializes in footwear and represents very successful lines including Bogs footwear, Rafters sandals, Farm to Feet socks, Acorn slippers and several other strong brands. The group also has a showroom in Hampton, NH, a short distance from Garmont’s North American headquarters.
The Garmont sales team is wrapping up the sell-in season for the new Spring 2019 line. New developments for Spring 2019 in the brand’s Mountain category include the new G-Radikal GTX, a modular insulated boot developed in conjunction with international mountain guides and the Mountain Guide Pro GTX, an insulated boot for high alpine terrain. In the light hiking category, the 9.81N Air G GTX Surround offers an athletic, light, comfortable shoe for speed hiking. In lifestyle, the new Tikal has been well-received by retailers and consumers.
