The Conservation Alliance welcomed its newest member, Topo Athletic.

Through the partnership, Topo Athletic joins a group of more than 220 like-minded companies to support the grassroots conservation community working to protect the wild places that benefit outdoor recreation. With the support of its members, The Conservation Alliance has contributed more than $20 million dollars to support over 580 grassroots conservation projects to date.

“As a Colorado native and outdoorsman, the mission to protect our public spaces is deeply personal. Our connection to these lands has shaped our humanity, and I’m afraid that if we lose it, a part of us will die,” said Tony Post, founder and CEO of Topo Athletic. “We are proud to join the ranks of other like-minded brands within The Conservation Alliance, and we look forward to demonstrating how a small business can impact the future and vitality of our natural world.”

The Topo Athletic team is dedicated to the protection of the mountains and trails where their community of customers recreate. The partnership is an extension of the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility, which is evident from its processes from the office to the manufacturing level. This includes using factories that have environmental policies in place and sourcing environmentally-friendly and animal-friendly materials.

“We are thrilled to welcome Topo Athletic into The Conservation Alliance membership,” said John Sterling, executive director of The Conservation Alliance. “Partnering with companies that share our dedication to conservation continues to drive efforts to protect our wild places. Together, we provide the much-needed funding to community-based campaigns working to protect threatened habitat and the places we recreate.”

The Conservation Alliance has contributed more than $20 million, awarded 580 grants, helped to protect more than 50 million acres of wildlands, protected 3,102 miles of rivers, stopped or removed 30 dams, designated five marine reserves and purchased 13 climbing areas.
