Turner’s Sportsfair, a bar and tackle shop on State Street in Boise, ID, has closed.
The establishment was owned by John Turner and his family for more than 70 years, according to an Idaho State Spokesman. The closing was blamed on challenges adapting to a shift from a local economy dependent on coal and gas toward new industries like technology, recreation and healthcare.
