Kokatat introduced the USCG approved Bahia and Bahia Tour high back recreational life vests. Based off their highly successful MsFIT platform, these vests offer comfort at an affordable price. Just another example of Kokatats commitment to creating user-friendly water sports gear.
The articulated front shell and foam panels allow for increased comfort and more flexibility. Both have the lightweight and durable 210D high-tenacity nylon inner and outer shells. Foam back panels are “split” by a mesh ventilation panel, with a high buoyancy upper foam panel and a thin low-profile lumbar panel to accommodate the taller seats of touring kayaks and make for a more comfortable experience. Complete custom fitting is made possible by the multiple side adjustments and the neoprene padded shoulder straps, so the vests can be made to fit a wide range of torso sizes. Both models have a zippered gusseted stretch mesh pocket which accommodates small fly boxes, and are available in the new “Sand” color which makes these ideal vests for the fishing market. Other features include a key lanyard and lash tab. The Bahia Tour features a second lash tab for a strobe attachment, a second zippered stretch mesh pocket for more storage, an electronic pocket with adjustable buckle closure, and front and back 3M reflective fabric highlights for added safety and visibility.
