Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) announced the sale of KanJam LLC to Wild Sales LLC (d/b/a Wild Sports). KanJam is a flying disc game played with a flying disc and two cans in which you deflect the disc.
Wild Sports, based in Westfield, IN, is the market leader in licensed and branded bean bag toss games.
BGL’s consumer products & retail team served as the exclusive financial advisor to KanJam. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
KanJam, based in Buffalo, NY, has become a recognized leader in the indoor and outdoor games space with more than 1.5 million units sold. KanJam co-founders Charlie Sciandra and Mitch Rubin invested in Wild Sports and will remain involved in helping build the newly combined businesses.
Wild Sports is backed by Expedition Capital Partners, Centerfield Capital Partners and Cardinal Equity Partners.
