The CPSC, in cooperation with Sycamore Kids Inc., announced a recall of the Mountain Buggy Urban Single and Urban Double Jogging Strollers. The recall affects about 2,200 units, as the handlebar can crack or break causing it to possibly detach while in use. Sycamore has received 10 reports of handlebars either cracking or breaking. No injuries were reported.

The strollers have a metal frame and a cloth seat with a sun canopy and were sold in a variety of solid colors.

The strollers were sold by baby furniture and baby product stores nationwide and Web retailers from December 2004 through July 2005 for between $400 and $600 and were manufactured in New Zealand.
