PyeongChang 2018 will host the XXIII Olympic Winter Games — and the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team will be ready to tackle the cold and bring home the gold wearing uniforms by Columbia.
The best athletes in the world demand the best gear in the world. The innovation and inspiration that Columbia’s designers poured into these uniforms is a direct result of working directly with the U.S. freestyle ski team for the past seven seasons.
The 2018 collection features Columbia’s proprietary fabric technologies including OutDry Extreme and Omni-Heat Reflective combined with a snow camouflage pattern to help mask body movement. Technical trims like Light Rail zippers are low-profile and eliminate the need for zipper tape.
When are the Olympics?
The 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games will held from Februar 8-25, 2018. The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, February 9, but competition will actually begin on Thursday, February 8, with curling mixed doubles games and men’s ski jumping qualifications. Competition will conclude on Sunday, February 25, the same date as the closing ceremony.
