Alstyle Apparel, theT-shirt and sweatshirt company acquired by Gildan Activewear in 2016, is closing its distribution center in Anaheim, CA., affecting 81 jobs, according to notices filed with the state Employment Development Department.
A Gildan spokesperson told Apparel News that the activities at the 200,000-square-foot Anaheim distribution center are being consolidated with a new larger distribution facility in the Jarupa Valley. The larger facility will also ship products from American Apparel, which Gildan acquired last year.
