Pure Barre formed a partnership with SIRIUS XM host, AfterBuzz TV CEO and two-time The New York Times best-selling author Maria Menounos. Menounos will serve as a brand ambassador for the company to support its core mission of empowering bodies and minds.
“I fell in love with Pure Barre within the first session,” said Menounos. “I always say ‘work smarter, not harder,’ and feel like Pure Barre is just that – small movements that amount to big, transformative changes both physically and mentally. That special time that’s pure-ly devoted to myself is priceless. I am thrilled to join the Pure Barre family and look forward to spreading the word about its unparalleled technique and powerful community.”
Pure Barre’s partnership with Menounos comes on the heels of founder Carrie Dorr returning to the company earlier this year. Building on Dorr’s original mission when launching the brand in 2001, Menounos will support Pure Barre’s commitment to bringing its technique and community to new audiences. The actress will help expand the Pure Barre community, helping to spread the word about new class offerings.
Menounos officially kicks off her partnership today to celebrate the launch of Pure Barre’s new class offering, Pure Empower. Menounos will support the launch of Pure Empower by spreading the word through her social network and hosting a charity class in support of women’s empowerment this fall.
“As a strong proponent of female leaders and entrepreneurs, we could not be happier to welcome Maria to the Pure Barre family,” said Scott Breault, chief marketing officer for Pure Barre. “She exemplifies so many of the wonderful qualities that Pure Barre stands for, and can tuck with the best of them, too! We look forward to working closely with Maria to generate greater brand awareness and introduce new class offerings over the coming months.”
Pure Barre is projected to open 75 new studios in 2017 and have more than 1,000 studios open in the U.S., Canada and around the world by 2021.
