’47, the fan apparel specialist, announced the opening of the company’s first official team store in Petco Park–home to the San Diego Padres.

The Padres ’47 Team Store is located at the bottom of the historic Western Metal Building and boasts 7,000 square feet of retail space. Additionally, the stadium has numerous ’47 kiosks throughout to offer fans additional touch points to pick up ’47 gear such as the popular ’47 CLEAN UP and ’47 SCRUM Tee.

Similar to ’47, the Padres have a rich history in baseball culture,” said ’47 Co-Owner Steven D’Angelo. “’47 has an undeniable presence in ballparks nation-wide, and we’re excited for San Diego to be the first main team naming rights our brand has acquired. Previously known as Twins Enterprises, ’47 is currently managed by Arthur’s four sons, Bobby, David, Mark and Steven.’47 is a partner of Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association and over 900 collegiate programs. The company is also the owner of Old Time Sports.
