Mystery Ranch, the manufacturer of packs for the outdoor enthusiast, announced it recently hired Greg Breitmaier as sustainability program manager. In this role, Breitmaier will progress and formalize the company’s commitment to sustainability in both business and manufacturing.

“Greg’s expertise will help us to build upon our recent efforts to make sustainable, long-lasting products while helping to advance a company-wide culture that’s committed to reducing our impact,” said Alex Kutches, President of Mystery Ranch.

Coming from an extensive career in the outdoor industry and having worked with brands including Dakine and Simms, Breitmaier has gathered a portfolio of knowledge regarding material development, which ties in directly with sustainability. He will continue to measure, plan and reduce Mystery Ranch’s environmental impact on its supply chain and continue to educate the consumer by sharing its Restricted Substances List (RSL) and Water Repellent treatments (PFAS) on its website.
