180s hired two industry veterans to its product development team. Lonnie Drosihn will assume his post as 180s VP of Product Research and Development, and counterpart Roy Rodriguez-Armijos will begin work as senior product designer/developer.

Drosihn comes to 180s with over 15 years experience as a product manager in the outdoor, footwear and sporting goods markets. He spent the majority of his professional career leading product development teams with top manufacturers including CamelBak, Sierra Designs and Ultimate Direction. Drosihn’s products have received numerous accolades including Backpacker Magazine’s Editor’s Choice award and Outside Magazine’s Gear of the Year.

Rodriguez-Armijos is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and School of Visual Arts, both in New York City. An experienced, innovative apparel designer Roy specializes in active sportswear and has held senior positions with Reebok, Puma, Speedo and Pro Player. Prior to attaining his degree in fashion design Rodriguez-Armijos oversaw graphic design at a number of leading publications including Redbook and Lear’s Magazine, making him one of an elite group of designers to work successfully in both the apparel and graphic design fields.
