180s, a leading brand of innovative accessories and performance wear, has announced the addition of three new members to its sales and marketing teams. Terry Snider joins 180s as its vice president of sales, Anthony Melizi becomes 180s’ national sales manager, and Sue Torralba is the company’s new marketing manager.
Snider, Melizi and Torralba will all play a pivotal role in continuing to evolve 180s into a four-season company, providing solutions to athletes.
Terry Snider brings his deep sales experience of more than 20 years to 180s, previously serving as director of sales for Kozy Shack Enterprises and senior vice president of sales for The OneCare Company, supporting brands including Clorox, Febreze and Downy.
Anthony Melizi joins 180s’ sales team as national sales manager, previously serving as national sales manager for New Balance Accessories and the Havaianas brand, as well as senior account executive for Everlast Worldwide. 180s Marketing Manager Sue Torralba has served as marketing manager for Phillips Foods, Inc., and marketing program coordinator for Honeywell and brings her personal passion for running and performance sports to the team.
“This is an exciting time for the 180s brand as we grow our team with these integral new members and expand our product line significantly in the warm weather and high-performance categories,” said Lester Lee, 180s CEO. “Terry, Anthony and Sue are all high-performing, results-oriented professionals that possess the drive and character we’re looking for to represent the brand. We’re looking forward to a strong 2012 under their direction.”
Baltimore-based 180s introduced the original behind-the-head ear warmers in 1995 and pioneered Tec Touch technology, enabling consumers to use their iPhone and other touch screen devices in the winter without removing their gloves. With over 25 styles of men’s and women’s gloves featuring Tec Touch, 180s has the widest selection of iPhone and touch screen compatible gloves on the market. Since the launch of this initial and highly successful technology, the company has branched into gloves, apparel and accessories for an active lifestyle year round. 180s’ mission is to find a new approach in developing innovative performance based products that are built for the active lifestyle. The company has nearly 80 patents and patents pending.
