Beeline Bikes, which provides software that helps bike shops schedule service work and fulfill online sales, has been sold from Accell’s remaining North American portfolio, according to Bicycle Retailer.
The buyers of the business include Ken Crafford, the CEO of the StrataFusion Group, a business dedicated to IT and security infrastructure. Beeline staff is expected to remain, including president Peter Small and Pete Buhl, an active director.
Accell North America is now largely shut down after its parent, Netherlands-based Accell Group, in August sold most of its assets, including Diamondback, Redline and IZIP, to a California investment group, Regent but did not acquire Beeline. Regent has renamed the bought business the Alta Cycling Group and also acquired Mavic in a separate deal.
