Zumiez, Inc. reported that Troy Brown, the president of North America Zumiez, Inc., has decided to retire. According to a regulatory filing, Brown agreed to stay with the company until June 30, 2023 to transition his duties.
Brown will also be available to work on business development and other special projects.
Zumiez said in the filing, “The company thanks Mr. Brown for his 15 years of outstanding service to the company and wishes him the best on his decision to retire from the company.”
Brown has been the president of Zumiez North America since March 8, 2017. Before that, he was the company’s executive vice president of e-commerce and omnichannel since August 2012. From October 2008 through July 2012, he served as Zumiez’s senior vice president of e-commerce. Before joining Zumiez, he worked for Tommy Bahama, Expedia, Eddie Bauer, and Nautica.
Brown also serves on the Board of Directors for 5.11 Tactical.
