Triathlon industry veteran, Karen Sing, has joined Zoot
Sports as part of their product development and customer relations team. Sings 15 years of experience in the bicycle and multisport industry, coupled with over 20 years
of competitive swimming and triathlon racing makes her a perfect addition to the Vista, CA based apparel company.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Karen on our team,” said Tom Kattus, VP and General Manager of ZuitSports, Inc. “Karens comprehensive knowledge of the competitive swim and multisport markets is second to none, and her expertise in wetsuit design and manufacturing makes her an excellent addition to our team. ” added Kattus.
Throughout her 14 year tenure with Quintana Roo, Sings responsibilities ranged from office manager to key accounts manager, and ultimately product manager of the wetsuit division. “Im thrilled to be part of a great team,” said Sing. “Ive known Tom (Kattus) for many years. Weve been co-workers and competitors and have always worked well together.”
Sings addition to Zoot Sports comes at an incredibly opportune time. As Zoot Sports retail distribution continues to grow and diversify, so does their product line. “Our retailers have recognized the quality and strong sell-through of our products and continue to request a broader offering from us,” said Kattus. “We have expanded our swimming, cycling, and running-specific products and are introducing triathlon wetsuits as well.”
Sing will oversee the development of Zoot Sports Spring 2005 venture into the wetsuit market and assist in the accounting and sales departments of ZuitSports, Inc.
