Zoot Sports, which was recently acquired by K2, appointed Jeff Cunningham as national sales manager. Cunningham's experience includes 7 years as national sales and marketing director for Mammut, along with several years leading key marketing initiatives at The North Face.
“Jeff is a great addition to our team, as his passion for growing specialty brands naturally lends itself to our direction and goals for Zoot, ” said Brian Enge, Vice President and General Manager of Zoot. “Jeff's proven track record in leading performance brands to the next level of growth in specialty channels perfectly supports our goal of being the world's premier endurance sports brand.”
“I am excited to join this team and look forward to focusing our efforts and pushing forward,” said Cunningham. “The key ingredients of heritage, momentum and outstanding product are already well established and Zoot is in a prime position for market growth. Infused with K2's resources, Zoot is launching from a strong platform which will only bolster its expansion across the multisport channels ”
Zoot noted that it has seen over 300% revenue growth in the last 5 years, and is the leading brand worn by athletes at the Ironman World Championships in Kona. The brand continues to find popularity amongst endurance athletes seeking premium quality products for running, cycling, swimming and triathlon, and is poised to maintain an aggressive level of growth.
