Zeiss appointed Brian Immel as head of marketing, consumer products. Immel joined the Zeiss team in November and will be responsible for the marketing and brand management of Zeiss optical products for the Hunting, Nature, Photography and Cinematography categories.

Immel has extensive marketing experience building venerable brands across multiple consumer products industries. Most recently, Immel worked as vice president of global marketing for the Cycling Sports Group with oversight of the Cannondale and GT brands. Prior to that, he held major marketing and brand management roles with General Mills, Pepperidge Farm and The Hartford Financial Services Group.
