Women’s lifestyle apparel and accessories brand Z Supply hired Erika Klein as chief communications officer, moving from her role as the company’s chief marketing officer, a position she held for the past six years. The CCO role is a newly created position reporting to company President Mandy Fry.
Before joining Z Supply and serving as founder and CEO of Shout Public Relations, Klein was the marketing director at 26Red, and previously an account manager at Orsi Public Relations for four years. Before that, she worked for four years as a West Coast ad sales manager for Sportswear International magazine.
“I’ve enjoyed working with Erika for the past three years as our CMO, and I am thrilled for her to be our first CCO, spearheading the Z Supply Foundation and overseeing our PR and corporate communications,” Fry said.
Klein is responsible for corporate communications, media relations, community partnerships, and philanthropy through the Z Supply Foundation. She will also continue to work with the company’s PR agency, Shout Public Relations, which she founded 26 years ago.
Klein will also remain as secretary to the Board of the Z Supply Foundation. In addition to her responsibilities as CCO, the company said she will focus on overall growth, taking the Foundation’s scholarship programs to new heights.
