South Korea's outdoor apparel company Youngone Corp. has upped its stake in Scott Sports of Switzerland to 50.01 percent with a total investment of 154.5 billion won, or about $140.4 million.

Yougone, which both manufactures and distributes global outdoor brands in Asia, acquired a 20.1 percent stake in Scott Sports in early 2013. The two companies first partnered in 2011 to distribute Scott products in Korea, Japan and China.

Youngone Holdings Company manufactures, markets, and exports sports wear on an OEM basis to such customers as Nike, Eddie Bauer, L.L.Bean, The North Face and Puma. The company also produces sports accessories, such as gloves, backpacks, and sleeping bags.
