Yogasmoga, maker of yoga-inspired athletic apparel, plans to bring five new locations to California by fall 2015. The brand will open its West Coast flagship near Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Thursday, July 16.
Soon to follow are Southern CA locations in Newport Beach's Fashion Island, La Jolla Village in San Diego and Malibu Country Mart. Additionally, the company will open its first Northern CA location in San Francisco's Union Square district.
“California as a market really appreciates Yogasmoga's superior product and authentic yoga ethos,” said Rishi Bali, founder and CEO of Yogasmoga. “We love the California wellness lifestyle and plan to add additional stores in Southern California and in the Bay Area. Our soon-to-open stores represent a thoughtful and cultivated selection process and we are excited about the enthusiasm Yogasmoga is receiving from the top retail centers.”
As part of the Beverly Hills store opening, the company is launching Yogasmoga Next Door within its stores, which provides a community space featuring yoga classes, partnerships with local juice, coffee and tea merchants and offers customers a moment of tranquility and relaxation.
The brand's 2015 expansion will continue beyond CA to include new markets. By year's end, Yogasmoga expects have up to 10 new locations that join the current Brentwood, CA and Greenwich, CT stores and further the momentum the company is building.
Founded in 2013 by siblings Rishi and Tapasya Bali, the company is headquartered in New York City.
