After three decades of growth and innovation, Yanre Fitness is rebranding to YR Fitness. The company reported that the change is part of its plan “to expand internationally and make its name easier to remember and pronounce.”
Founded in 1997 by George Yang, YR Fitness, headquartered in China, manufactures commercial gym equipment and reports it is the first company on the Mainland to specialize in strength equipment.
The company boasts over 40 patents and states that “it offers the same quality as international big brands but at a much more affordable price.”
“At YR Fitness, products are made with heart and standards,” said Yang. The name change was reportedly made to “emphasize simplicity and impact.” The brand aims to be easy for everyone to recognize and say. This change also reflects the company’s “commitment to bringing top-quality fitness equipment to people all around the world.”
“YR Fitness marks our step toward global growth,” continued Yang. During this transition, both Yanre and YR branding may be visible.”
