Yakima announced, effective immediately, that Ryan Martin, CEO of the Americas Region, had increased responsibilities to drive strategic direction and growth in Australasia (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

Martin has held this position since 2014, overseeing the organization, top and bottom line growth, portfolio category expansion, and channel diversification in the outdoor, active lifestyle and automotive sectors.

The move will allow Yakima’s “operating teams to work under a direct leadership structure to realize business efficiencies while increasing global collaboration based on market similarities and strong categorical expertise.” The new structure also “allows the business to leverage insights and history from the established markets to ensure consistent brand representation as expansion accelerates.”

Martin will continue to work from the company’s Lake Oswego office.
