After what many saw as a final straw of a WSA Show last week (SEW_0931) ENK International LLC announced new dates and venues for the WSA Shows in 2010 and beyond. In February 2010, the three-day WSA show will be held February 2-4 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The 2010 summer show will be held under one roof August 3-5 at The Venetian Casino Resort/Sands Expo and Convention Center and will stay at that location through at least the 2012 dates.
“We are very excited to announce these changes in dates and venues, signaling a return to the footwear industry's historical calendar and offering this premier event under a single roof,” said Elyse Kroll, chairman and chief creative officer of ENK. “Our footwear brands and retailers requested a single venue and earlier show dates and we responded. Realizing that the previous show schedule made it difficult for our exhibitors to effectively manage their supply chains, we set a goal to find dates and venues that benefited our global buyers and sellers. We are very pleased that we are able to support their needs.”
