Wolverine Worldwide has promoted Todd Yates to president of Wolverine and Hytest brands. In this newly formed role, Yates will be responsible for developing and implementing all integrated sales, marketing and product strategies for the brands in alignment with Wolverine Worldwides key growth initiatives for its portfolio of dynamic lifestyle brands. Yates will report directly to Ted Gedra, president of the Heritage Group.


Todd has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to drive profitable, high double-digit revenue growth, said Gedra. He has the background and proven experience to drive strong growth for both the Wolverine and Hytest brands in the future.


Yates has more than 25 years of experience in the outdoor and apparel industries, including leadership positions with such brands as Woolrich, The North Face and Columbia. He has been with Wolverine Worldwide since February of 2009, serving in the dual role of vice president of marketing for Wolverine, Bates, Hytest and Harley-Davidson brands, and vice president and general manager for Wolverine Apparel.


Wolverines portfolio of highly recognized brands includes: Merrell, Sperry Top-Sider, Hush Puppies, Saucony, Wolverine, Keds, Stride Rite, Sebago, Cushe, Chaco, Bates, HYTEST, and Soft Style. The Company also is the global footwear licensee of popular brands including CAT, Harley-Davidson and Patagonia.
