WizWheelz, the parent company of recumbent bike brands TerraTrike, GreenSpeed and KMX has expanded its operations and marketing team with key hires.

Chad Mahakian joins WizWheelz with a strong background in the auto industry where he handled commodity buying for Isuzu North America and General Motors. In his new position of Procurement Buyer, Mahakian manages global commodity strategy, collaborating with both the sales team and engineers to execute timely and cost-effective delivery.

“With the huge boom in cycling and the resulting supply-side chaos that’s ensued over the last year, Chad comes to us at a time when we couldn’t have needed him more,” said WizWheelz Sales and Marketing Director Marshall Randall. “His ability to improve the efficiency of our sourcing processes will help us continue to bring the best value to consumers and the best service to our dealers.”

In his new role as Marketing Coordinator, Jack Cafretsas handles graphic design, social media, public relations, event planning, and supporting all marketing initiatives. A cum laude graduate of Central Michigan University, Cafretsas brings experience from the Saugatuck Center for the Arts and the national resource office for the YMCA.

“We’re so happy to have these two strong additions to our WizWheelz team,” said Randall. “JC has already been instrumental in the success of our TerraTrike Virtual RiderFest, managing the social media side of things and administrating our Strava club — TerraTrike Isolation Riders — which has quickly grown to 300 strong.”
