Women in Sports and Events (WISE), a resource for women in the business of sports, added three new chapters in Utah, Las Vegas and Greater Raleigh. WISE now has 15 chapters across the country to drive the national organization’s mission to support and enhance the professional growth of women in the sports industry. Local chapters provide programming and networking opportunities in their region while offering national resources including the WISE Within Mentor Program and Speed Mentoring Roundtables.
“Adding new WISE chapters in Utah, Las Vegas and Greater Raleigh bolsters support for women in sports in these regions and expands the shared network and experience of our organization as a whole,” said Kathleen Francis, national chair of WISE. “We look forward to seeing these chapters grow in the years ahead, and to the contributions their members will continue to make in WISE and our industry.”
These chapters will be led by presidents Jenn Andrs, executive director, Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah (Utah chapter); Brette Sadler, VP, global partnership activation, UFC (Las Vegas chapter); and Mary Spencer, VP – marketing, Wasserman (Greater Raleigh chapter).
