Wilson Racquet Sports promoted Chris Kushner to Product Manager of Accessories and Alex Muresan to National Tour Manager for USA Juniors. Kushner has been instrumental to the continued growth in accessories over the last two years by keeping customer service representatives and the sales force educated on new Wilson accessories.

Kushner will now take on a developmental role, spending time at Wilson factories working on new products and with the sales force to obtain a better understanding of the needs of Wilson’s customers.

“Kushner has been a tremendous asset since he joined the accessories team and will be a key contributor in the development of new products,” John Lyons, business director of accessories at Wilson Racquet Sports, said. “He will be working closely with all our offices world wide to support their growing business.”

Muresan started at Wilson as the national promotions coordinator, a position he has held for two years. As national tour manager, Muresan will oversee the sponsorship of Wilson’s top US Juniors players, help grow Wilson’s collegiate business, and provide promotional and player support at Tour events in the U.S.

Kushner began playing tennis at the age of five in his hometown of Chicago. He played tennis competitively through juniors, high school and college, where he was captain of the men’s team at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Muresan also played tennis competitively through juniors, high school and college, for the No. 1-ranked University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and professionally at the Futures and Challengers level.

“Muresan’s strong background as a competitor will allow him to make an immediate impact as he interacts with players, parents, coaches and tournament officials on Wilson's behalf,” Michael Wallace, global director for Tour and sports marketing at Wilson Racquet Sports, said. “He is a fabulous addition to our US and Global Junior and Tour Player Team.”
