Wilson Sporting Goods Co. and the Ohio High School Athletic Association are extending their partnership through 2015. Wilson, the Official Football Supplier of the OHSAA, has been a partner since 2002. The new agreement will make the Wilson F1003 GST football the Official Football of the OHSAA Championships and the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association.
Wilson is working on initiatives that are important to the OHSAA and make a positive contribution to local communities and student athletes. These initiatives include various scholarship programs and also the “First Friday” program which promotes prostate cancer awareness.
The Wilson football factory located in Ada, OH, employs more than 150 workers many of who have worked there their entire adult lives. The Wilson factory workers have made the Official NFL Game Ball since 1941 and every Super Bowl touch down pass and extra point have been scored with a ball made in Ada, OH.
