Wilson will be the official tennis ball of the 2004 Olympic Games. The US Open Tournament Select tennis ball will be used in play for the eight day event August 15 – 22nd.

During the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games, tennis competitions will take place at the Olympic Tennis Center of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex (OCO). Ten courts will be used for the competition: centre court (8,000 seats), court 1 (4,000 seats), court 2 (2,000 seats) and courts 3-9 (200 seats). All courts are Decoturf II, the same surface used at the US Open held at the USTA National Tennis Center.

Olympic Tennis consists of four events: Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s doubles and Women’s doubles. Entries for both men and women will total 172. The Men’s singles Gold medal match will conclude the event on Sunday, the 22nd. The Women’s singles gold medal match will happen on Saturday, August 21st.
