Lehigh Defense, LLC, the ammunition manufacturer acquired by Wilson Combat in 2021, has acquired all assets of Performance Engineering, a firearms component manufacturer based in Hillsboro, MO.

“Performance Engineering has been a trusted supplier of 1911 and AR-15 components to the firearms industry for more than four decades, and Wilson Combat has been proud to source components from them for over 30 years,” the company said in a media release.

Darla and Russ Narzinski, the former owners of Performance Engineering, have retired. Lehigh Defense has integrated Performance Engineering’s manufacturing and operations into its facility into the Lehigh HQ facility in Clarksville, TX.

“Customers can expect continuity and reliability, with no significant changes other than an updated address. All product quality standards, SKU numbers and pricing will remain consistent,” Lehigh noted.

Lehigh Defense announced plans to reintroduce previously discontinued Performance Engineering components and expand its product lineup with new offerings, further enhancing its capacity to meet industry demands.

Lehigh Defense operates a Swiss screw machine facility equipped with 21 single-spindle and one multi-spindle machine to produce a wide range of firearm components.

Lehigh Design, founded by Dave Fricke and later expanded to Lehigh Defense with the addition of Pete Vogel and Mike Cyrus, has reportedly been designing and manufacturing solid brass and copper bullets using since 2004.

The Wilson Family Companies, LLC, led by Founder and CEO Bill Wilson, also owns Chip McCormick Custom, Circle WC Ranch, Khumba Bush Camp, Scattergun Technologies, Wilson Custom Ammunition, and Wilson Combat.
