Grassroots Outdoor Alliance is pleased to announce that Wild Iris Mountain Sports in Lander, WY has joined our organization as a retail member.
Wild Iris began more than 20 years ago as a shop dedicated to climbing and continues to pay homage to their climbing roots. Today, they also feel strongly that their role in community has become an important part of their business. They have established long-term goals to maintain and develop meaningful relationships in their community by reaching out with employee volunteer time, community events and consistently stellar customer service.
The Grassroots Outdoor Alliance is a buying group of independent outdoor retailers organized to serve the needs of its member operating over 70 independent specialty outdoor stores throughout North America. Alliance members must meet a variety of criteria, including a history of prompt payment of vendors. In turn the Alliance partners with select vendors to negotiate terms for its members, who gather at a buying show twice a year.
